Porting an individual phone number to Telgea is a simple process. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth transition.
â
â1. Select or Create a User
Each phone number being ported must be associated with a user in Telgeaâs system.
If the user does not already exist, youâll need to provide the following details to create their profile:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
This ensures the number is correctly assigned to the right user once the porting process is complete.
2. Initiate the Port-In Request
Ensure you are a company admin and can log into the Mobile Plan Portal. Not a company admin? Reach out to your IT department and ask them to help you.
Log in to the Portal: Start by logging into your Telgea account through the Portal.
Create a Port-In Request: Navigate to the + button in the upper right corner.
Select "Numbers" and then "Transfer numbers"
Choose "Single number" and follow the port-in flow.
Provide Required Authorization Code
Depending on your country, different data is needed. See the list below for details:
3. Porting Timeline and Confirmation
Processing Time: While the standard time for porting a number is two weeks, Telgea can process it in as few as 3-4 days. However, faster processing may increase the risk of rejection from your current carrier. Contact us if you wish to expedite the process.
Final Confirmation: On the selected port-in date, your number will be fully transferred to Telgea. The exact time depends on the country.
On the port-in day, you will receive an email with the installation guide. Once installed, you're up and running with your new Telgea plan.
4. Porting away from Telgea
If you're transferring your number to a new provider, simply follow their porting process using the number details from your Telgea account. The steps are similar to porting into Telgea.
