Number Porting information by country

Here is a list of what information Telgea needs to be able to port a number for each country we support.

United Kingdom (UK)

  • Required Code: PAC (Porting Authorization Code)

  • Details: You can obtain the PAC by texting "PAC" to 65075. The PAC is valid for 30 days, and you must provide this code to the new provider.

Denmark

  • Required Information: CPR number (personal) or CVR number (company)

  • Details: The CPR (personnummer) or CVR (company registration number) is needed to verify the ownership of the number. The new provider will handle the porting process once they have this information.

Germany

  • Required Code: Kündigungsvormerkung (Cancellation Pre-Notice)

  • Details: You must inform your current provider that you intend to port your number, and they will provide a Kündigungsvormerkung, which the new provider will use to complete the process.

France

  • Required Code: RIO (Relevé d'Identité Opérateur)

  • Details: Obtain the RIO by calling 3179 from the number you wish to port. The code is valid for 40 days and must be provided to the new provider.

Italy

  • Required Information: Serial Number (ICCID) and Fiscal Code (Codice Fiscale) or VAT number (for companies)

  • Details: The serial number is located on the SIM card, and the Codice Fiscale is a personal identification number. Companies must provide their VAT number.

Spain

  • Required Information: NIF/NIE (National Identity Number) or CIF (Tax ID for companies)

  • Details: The NIF/NIE or CIF verifies the owner’s identity. The new provider handles the process once this information is submitted.

Netherlands

  • Required Information: Customer Number (Klantnummer) and SIM card details

  • Details: The customer number is required, and in some cases, the original SIM card details are also necessary.

Belgium

  • Required Code: No specific code, but Customer ID and proof of identity are required.

  • Details: The new provider may ask for your customer ID with the current provider, along with proof of identity.

Sweden

  • Required Information: Personal Identification Number (Personnummer) or Company Registration Number

  • Details: The new provider requires the personal or company ID number to verify ownership and process the porting.

Finland

  • Required Information: Personal ID number (Henkilötunnus) or Business ID (Y-tunnus)

  • Details: Personal or business identification numbers are needed to process the port request.

Ireland

  • Required Code: No specific code, but proof of identity and current account details are needed.

  • Details: Provide the new provider with your current provider account details and proof of identity.

Austria

  • Required Code: NÜV (Nummernübertragungsformular) Code

  • Details: Obtain the NÜV code from your current provider, which you then provide to your new provider.

Portugal

  • Required Information: NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal) for individuals, or company registration number for businesses

  • Details: The NIF or company registration number is required for verification.

Greece

  • Required Information: AMKA number (personal) or AFM number (for companies)

  • Details: The AMKA (personal ID number) or AFM (Tax Identification Number) must be provided to initiate the port.

Poland

  • Required Information: PESEL number (personal) or REGON number (for companies)

  • Details: The PESEL (national identification number) or REGON (company registration number) is needed for porting.

Hungary

  • Required Information: Customer number and proof of identity

  • Details: The new provider will require your customer number from the current provider and a proof of identity.

Czech Republic

  • Required Code: ČVOP (Číslo Výpovědi Opouštěného Poskytovatele)

  • Details: This code is obtained from your current provider and is necessary for the porting process.

Romania

  • Required Information: CNP (Cod Numeric Personal) for individuals or company registration number for businesses

  • Details: The CNP (personal ID number) or company registration number is needed.

USA

  • Required Information: Account Number and PIN

  • Details: The account number and often a PIN code associated with the account are needed. You can obtain these from your current provider. Some providers also require a billing ZIP code.

Norway

  • Required Information: National ID number (Fødselsnummer) or Organization Number (Organisasjonsnummer for companies)

  • Details: The personal or company ID number is required to verify ownership. The new provider will handle the porting process once this information is provided.

Switzerland

  • Required Information: Mobile number and Customer ID or Account Number

  • Details: You typically need to provide your mobile number along with the Customer ID or Account Number from your current provider. Some providers may also ask for a written request or authorization.
