Porting a Single Number in the UK with Telgea

With Telgea, it’s simple. Just log into the Telgea portal and start your porting request. No hassles, just a streamlined process to bring your number over.

What You’ll Need

To ensure your port request goes through smoothly, have the following details ready:

  • Number in E164 Format: Example: +44 XXXX XXXXXX.

  • Current Carrier Details: The current carrier you wish to port from.

  • PAC (Porting Authorization Code): You can obtain the PAC by texting "PAC" to 65075. The PAC is valid for 30 days, and you must provide this code to the new provider.

How it Works

  • Submit the Request in the Telgea Portal: Follow the steps outlined here, and upload your documents.

Quick Tips for Success

  • Keep Your Number Active: Ensure it’s active with your current carrier throughout the porting process.

  • Double-Check Details: Confirm all information, including service address and name, matches your current provider’s records to avoid rejections.

Porting for Multiple Numbers in the UK

Preparing Essential Documents

For porting multiple numbers, ensure you have the following documents ready:

  • Letter of Authorization (LOA): Signed and dated by the authorized user, indicating the current provider and underlying carrier where relevant.

  • Latest Invoice: Must be from the last 3 months, showing account details and address.

  • PAC Code (for Mobile): Ensure the PAC is valid and obtained from your current carrier.

Information Required for the LOA

Your onboarding manager will guide you through completing the LOA, which must include:

  • Authorized Signatory: The person who can approve the transfer, including their signature and title.

  • Current Carrier and Underlying Carrier: List the current billing provider and underlying carrier’s name (if applicable).

  • Service Address: This address must be within the UK and match what’s on record with your current carrier.

  • List of Numbers in E164 Format: Provide each number or range, e.g., +44 XXXX XXXXXX.

Document Submission and Review

  • Telgea’s onboarding manager will help you compile and review all necessary documents to ensure accuracy before submission.

Process and Confirmation

  • Your onboarding manager will keep you updated on the porting status and confirm when the process is complete.

  • Telgea coordinates with your current provider to ensure everything transitions smoothly, with real-time status tracking available in the portal.
