Business verification: why we ask and how to complete it

Mobile providers require Telgea to verify every company it serves. One admin does it once, from Company Account, in a few minutes. It never needs renewing.

What you need

  • Your company's registered name and country. Our verification provider, Didit, finds the rest in the official business register.

  • The name, email address and role of one person who represents the company, such as a director or founder.

No ID document or face scan is needed.

How to complete it

  1. In the Telgea portal, select your name in the top right and open Company Account.

  2. Under Business verification, select Start standard verification. New companies can also start it from Getting started.

  3. Read the summary and select Continue to verification. You leave Telgea for Didit.

  4. Find your company and check the details Didit shows. If Didit can't find it, enter the details yourself.

  5. Add the person who represents the company, then finish.

Didit brings you back to the page you started from. If you leave before finishing, start again within 7 days and you continue where you stopped.

What the status means

Status

What it means

Undone

Not started yet.

In Review

We're checking your details. This usually takes up to 48 hours.

Passed

Your company is verified. There's nothing more to do.

Not Passed

We couldn't verify your company. Check your details and try again.

Every admin in the company gets an email when the result arrives, whether it passed or not.

Your deadline

  • Companies already with Telgea: 30 November 2026.

  • Companies joining from 21 October 2026: 30 days after signing up.

Company Account counts down the days left. While the check is still to do, admins get a reminder email every two weeks. After the deadline the check shows as Overdue, and the reminders continue until it passes.

Your data

Your company's details go straight to Didit, which checks them against official business registers and international sanctions lists. Didit stores them in the EU. Telgea keeps only the result: passed or not passed.

If you order Swiss numbers, we also send your verification report and your representative's name, role and email to Sunrise, our Swiss provider, which requires them.

Common questions

Why didn't we pass? The result email doesn't give a reason. Check that the details you confirmed match your company's official registration, then try again from Company Account. If it still doesn't pass, contact support.

We didn't get the result email. Company Account always shows the current status. The email goes to every admin, so check your spam folder and ask the other admins.

Do we need to do it again later? No. Once your company has passed, the verification doesn't expire.
