Your requested transfer date may change
In the Netherlands, the date requested when submitting your transfers is the requested porting date. The final transfer date is confirmed by the current provider.
The current provider may move the transfer to a different date. This is a normal part of the Dutch number porting process and does not mean that the transfer has failed.
When transferring multiple numbers, the confirmed transfer date may also differ between individual numbers, even if they were submitted together as part of the same batch.
If a transfer date changes, the latest date will be shown in the Telgea portal and app. We recommend checking the latest transfer dates there when preparing for your migration.
What happens while users wait?
Users can continue using their existing mobile plans normally while their number transfers are being processed.
Each number will remain connected through its current provider until that individual transfer takes place.
Quick Tips for Success
Check Your Customer Numbers: These must match your current provider’s records exactly.
Confirm SIM Type: Make sure the correct prepaid or postpaid option is selected for each number.
Plan for Date Changes: The requested porting date is not guaranteed. The current provider may confirm a different transfer date for one or more numbers.
Check the Latest Transfer Dates: Check the Telgea portal or app for the latest confirmed date for each number before preparing for the migration.
Keep Existing SIMs Active: Users should continue using their existing SIMs or eSIMs until they lose connectivity, indicating that their individual number transfer has taken place.
Double-Check Details: Incorrect information can result in a transfer being delayed or rejected.
