If you are traveling and using a Data SIM while keeping your personal or work eSIM active, you may want to forward calls from the inactive eSIM to your active eSIM.
Call Forwarding on iPhone
Before You Begin
Ensure both eSIMs are set up on your iPhone.
You will need a mobile network connection (WiFi may not work for setting up call forwarding).
Steps to Forward Calls from the Inactive eSIM to the Active eSIM
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Tap Phone.
Select Call Forwarding.
Toggle Call Forwarding to On.
Enter the phone number of your active eSIM where you want to forward calls.
Exit settings. Call forwarding is now active.
Call Forwarding on Android
Before You Begin
Call forwarding settings may be different based on your phone’s manufacturer and network provider.
Steps to Forward Calls from the Inactive eSIM to the Active eSIM
Open the Phone app on your Android device.
Tap the three-dot menu (top-right corner) and select Settings.
Go to Call settings (may also be called "Supplementary services") and select Call Forwarding.
Choose the eSIM you want to forward calls from.
Tap Voice call forwarding and select Always Forward.
Enter the phone number of your active eSIM.
Tap Enable or OK.
Managing Call Forwarding While Traveling
Ensure Roaming is Enabled: If you need to manage call forwarding while abroad, check that your eSIM supports roaming.
Test Before Departure: Set up call forwarding and test it before traveling.
