How to connect HiBob with Telgea

Our integration with Hibob syncs your employee contacts with Telgea's Mobile Plan Portal. Once synced, you can easily create new numbers or transfer existing ones within the Telgea portal, streamlining mobile management for your team.

  1. In the Telgea platform, select your profile from the bottom of the navigation menu and choose “Integrations.”

  2. On the Integrations screen, click “Get Started.”

  3. You will now be asked to input your HiBob ID and Token.

    How to find your HiBob ID and Token

  4. Log in to your organisation’s HiBob account, click the menu icon in the top-right corner, and select “System Settings.”

  5. In the Settings menu, choose “Integrations,” scroll down to “Automation,” and click “Connect” under “Service Users.”

  6. Select “Create” and give it the display name "Telgea".

  7. Once created, you will find your HiBob ID and Token.

  8. Copy the ID and Token and paste them into the HiBob integration section on the Telgea platform.
    ​

  9. Next, enable the requested permissions in HiBob and set up the Telgea webhook to proceed.
    ​

    Set HiBob permissions

  10. Go to “Permission Groups.”

  11. Click “Create Permission Group” and select “Service User.”

  12. Provide the Group Name "Telgea Group". Then, under “Members,” select Telgea and click “Apply” and then "Create" and "Confirm".

  13. Go to the “Permissions” menu on the left side, scroll down and select “People”, and enable the following permissions:

    ​

    1. Employees: Add new people to the company

    2. Employees: Delete people from the company

    3. Lists: Edit all lists (e.g., sites, job titles, etc.)

  14. Next, scroll further down and select “Settings” from the Permissions menu and enable the following permission:

    • Employee Fields: Manage Employee Field Settings

  15. Now in the top menu got to “People’s data”, and check off the following permissions:

    People - Personal contact details

    • Edit selected employees’ Personal contact details sections

    • View selected employees’ Personal contact details section histories

    • View selected employees’ personal contact details sections

    People - Basic Info

    • Edit selected employees’ Basic info sections

    • View selected employees’ Basic info section histories

    • View selected employees’ Basic info sections

    People - Personal

    • Edit selected employees’ personal sections

    • View selected employees’ Personal section histories

    • View selected employees’ Personal sections

    People - Work contact details

    • Edit selected employees’ Work contact details section

    • View selected employees’ Work contact details sections

    Time off - Requests

    • Create time off requests through the ‘bulk import’ function

    • Create, edit, and cancel people’s requests that haven’t been approved yet

    • Edit and cancel people’s future requests that have been approved

    • Edit and cancel people’s past requests that have been approved

    • Edit attachments, description, and reason in people’s requests that have been approved

    • View, approve or decline requests that are pending approval of others

    Time off - Balance

    • Adjust selected peoples” time off balances and bank their overtime

    • Bank overtime on behalf of their employees

    • See selected people’s time off and sick leave balances

    Time off - See who’s out today

    • See who’s out based on their personal working pattern and time off calendar

    • See who’s out because of a private policy

    • See who’s out today

      ⚠️ Make sure to verify that you have completed the steps above, as the integration will not function properly unless all permissions are enabled!

    Finally click “Save” to save the permissions and press "Apply".

    Set up Webhook

  16. The final step to integrating HiBob with Telgea, is to set up a webhook.
    Go to “Settings” and Select “Integrations”. 
Select “Webhooks” and select “Connect”
    ​
    On the next screen select “Add Webhook”

  17. Name the Webhook "Telgea Webhook" for your webhook and paste in the following webhook url:


    Under “Version”, select “v2”


    Under “Events”, select “Employees” in the dropdown and click “Apply”
    ​
    To complete the setup, select “Add”

18. Return to the Telgea platform and confirm that you have:

• Enabled the required permissions.

• Set up the Telgea webhook.

Finalize the setup by clicking “Continue.”
