🌐 No Internet After Porting Your Number in the UK? Update Your APN Settings

If you’ve just ported your number to Telgea in the UK and are unable to connect to the internet, the issue is likely with your APN (Access Point Name) settings. Some devices don’t update these settings automatically when switching networks.

Follow these steps to manually update your APN settings:

📱 iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network.

  2. In both Mobile Data and MMS sections, update the APN field to:

    • APN: gamma

  3. Leave Username and Password blank.

  4. Save the settings (if required).

  5. Wait a minute and test your internet connection—no restart needed!

📱 Android (Steps may vary)

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.

  2. Tap + to add a new APN (or edit an existing one).

  3. Update the APN field to:

    • APN: gamma

  4. Leave Username and Password blank.

  5. Tap Save and select the new APN.

  6. Wait a moment and try connecting to the internet.

🎯 Still Not Working?

  • Ensure Mobile Data is turned on.

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on and off.

  • Restart your phone if needed.
