If you're experiencing a PDP authentication failure, follow these quick steps to resolve the issue.

Before You Begin

  1. Update Your Device:
    Ensure your phone has the latest software version.

    • iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

    • Android: Go to Settings > Software Update.

  2. Check Your Wi-Fi Connection:
    Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network during setup.

For iPhone

1. Toggle Airplane Mode

  • Turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds, then turn it off.
    This can help reset the connection between your phone and the network.

2. Restart Your iPhone

  • Power off your iPhone completely, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.

3. Reset Network Settings

Resetting network settings often resolves PDP authentication failures:

  • Go to:

    • Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

    • OR Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

  • Restart your device after the reset.
    ​Note: This will erase your saved Wi-Fi passwords.

4. Check Your eSIM

  • Verify your eSIM is installed and active:

    • Go to Settings > Cellular > eSIM.

  • If not installed, reinstall it using the provided QR code or activation code.

For Android

1. Toggle Airplane Mode

  • Turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds, then turn it off.

2. Restart Your Android Device

  • Turn off your phone, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on.

3. Reset Network Settings

  • Open your Settings menu and follow these steps:

    • Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth.

    • OR Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

  • Restart your device after the reset.
    ​Note: This will erase your saved Wi-Fi passwords.

4. Check Your eSIM

  • Verify your eSIM is installed and active:

    • Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager > eSIM.

  • If not installed, reinstall it using the QR code or activation code.
