What You’ll Need
To ensure your port request goes through smoothly, have the following details ready:
Number in E164 Format: Example: +1 XXX XXX XXXX.
Current Carrier Details: The name of the carrier you are transferring the number from.
Porting Code (Account Number): This is the account number associated with your number at your current carrier. It is typically found on your most recent billing statement or by contacting your carrier’s customer support.
Porting Password (PIN): Many US carriers require a PIN for porting. This PIN is set by your current carrier and is often used to verify your ownership of the number. Contact your carrier if you’re unsure about your PIN or how to retrieve it.
Billing ZIP Code: The address on file with your old carrier.

NOTE! Most PIN numbers expires within a week. The PIN has to be active during the transfer date. Please double check that this is the case if you are scheduling a transfer for a date further on.
